      He, Charles, Hannah, their 2 children left from Sunderland on board the Emigrant, arriving in Port Phillip Victoria in 1853. Charles gave his profession as ‘tailor’ and Robert as ‘gardener’.
      Robert died shortly after arrival in Australia [6]
